I absolutely adore this brand. If LAUNE was a perfume, it would be maison millais. Highlighting their debut collection New York Nostalgia, the team at maison millais put together a list of essential New York spots and fragrance pairings. They are the epitome of it-girl chic and naturally their fav spots to spritz are fabulous. Without further ado, these are maison millais favorite spots to spritz in the city!
The Rose Reading Room: funny little things whispered at very important dinner parties
The Rose Reading Room is an incredible study spot in the city, a beautiful room within the public library reserved for studying (security will actually ask haha). A perfume trick we have is to spritz one of our scents during a specific class and during study sessions that you have an exam coming up for. Wear the exact scent during the exam and we guarantee you’ll be able to remember the material better—tried and true! We recommend funny little, our most unique and memorable Eau de Parfum.

Back of a Taxi Cab: eloise au plaza
There must be something about Eloise that’s suited for taxi cabs—we get complimented everytime we spritz before getting off! It’s a delicious scent for a Park Ave Princess. But, really, one of our favorite city moments is opening the cab door, being launched straight back into the bustle of the city after a quieter break.

Misi is a very fond restaurant that will always be reminiscent of graduation. Their pasta dishes are incredibly light and unique, and we love to sit in front of the open kitchen to see all the action up close—such an experience! One of our favorite ways to wear millais is layering funny little with extraordinary, and it really complements the freshness of Misi’s vibrant atmosphere.

The Met Cloisters: eloise au plaza
The Cloisters is truly a marvelous spot, a sanctuary within city life. The Unicorn Tapestries is always so nostalgic while wondrous, and we urge anyone who’s planning a trip to the city to not only visit The Met but The Cloisters as well. It’s one of the best museums in NYC.

Central Park: nothing short of extraordinary
Returning to Central Park always feels like a big hug. We can’t count the number of times we biked along museum mile, dreaming about what the future might have in store for us. It’s actually where the idea for extraordinary was born! A fresh and nostalgic scent for bike rides and Bluestone Lane matchas. Central Park is a special place for a lot of New Yorkers and for all the right reasons.
