1. Tell me about Poets Atelier. How was it created? What inspired the name?
My sister and I created Poets Atelier together – we have combined studies in dermal therapy and cosmetic chemistry and wanted to fill a gap we saw in the premium microbiome space. Our insights into skin physiology and ingredients formed an important performance pillar of the brand, supported by advances in biotechnology and our own bio-fermented actives. The name was inspired by the Ancient Greek meaning of Poet and the idea that we can all cultivate a sense of imagination, curiosity and creativity.

International Klein Blue, representing freedom and boundlessness.
3. Describe the style of Poets Atelier in three words.
Modern. Innovative. Confident!
4. Can you explain what biomimetic science is and how are Poets Atelier products are formulated?
We believe that the skin and gut microbiome can impact overall health in many ways, studies have shown that the root cause of many health concerns stem from a dysbiosis of the microbiome. We partnered with a specialist lab and biochemists who could leverage their scientific research and use microbiome intelligence in developing our products. Currently we have launched two hero products - both made to biomimetic, using bioactive ingredients that trigger the skins natural processes, without the use of essential oils or added fragrance which are major culprits in irritation and imbalances of the skin microbiome.
5. How should people use Poets Atelier in their skincare routines?
Our approach is consistency over intensity and our products are intentionally designed to be multi-beneficial, replacing the need for many different skincare products. We recommend using the Strength & Recovery Bio-Serum first after cleansing, followed the Biome Active Face Oil.
6. What’s your skincare routine? What’s your beauty routine?
I have a very minimalist approach to skincare now, I only use Poets Atelier on my skin after cleansing. My sister and I drink bone broth daily to support skin and gut health.
7. What inspires you?
Traveling & exploring new cultures. People who follow their passions – whether that be as a hobby or a career.
8. What’s next for Poets Atelier?
We’ll be expanding into new markets soon and are slowly developing new products. We’re excited to continue to grow our community in existing locations and help more people on their skin health journey!
