The LAUNE Guide to Mykonos
I travel to Europe each summer and something about Mykonos keeps drawing me back. It’s honestly one of my favorite places in the world. Below, is a list of all my favorites!
I first stayed here some 10 years ago and continue to stay here each time I’m back. With walking distance to both Scorpios and Nammos, it’s in the perfect location. Plus you have your own beach access and pool directly at the hotel. Breakfast is included and served with the most breathtaking view.
Eat/Drink/Play: Scorpios
Now this is seriously my favorite place ever. I could probably spend every night here. With the likes of Keinemusik and Black Coffee playing here each summer, this place is incredible. In my opinion, their restaurant is one of the best on the island.Make a reservation for the Sunset Beach and/or dinner and enjoy! (Reservations should be made well in advance for both dinner and Sunset Beach).
Eat: Kastros Mykonos
A great option for dinner in town.
Eat/Drink/Play: Nammos
Another iconic venue, Nammos is legendary. In fact, I think every beach club should be modeled after Nammos. The beds are SO comfortable, the service is prime, and the ambiance is amazing. The day begins with soft jazz, and eventually proceeds to more lively house. At 4:00 PM, the music really gets going as the party begins. The people watching is amazing! Another place I could come every day! (Pro Tip: The beds are first come first serve, so make sure to get there on the earlier side. I would also make a lunch reservation well in advance).
Eat/Drink/Play: Alemagou
Lock in for sunset! Similar vibes to Scorpios, but not as big but an amazing time no less! Get ready to dance the night away.
Drink/Play: Bonbonniere Mykonos
Very table oriented, but the party is in a courtyard! Great place for going out in town with an exceptional DJ.
Drink/Play: Astra Mykonos
A chic spot in town with music, drinks, and dancing.
