1. Tell me about yourself and Caseymadeit. How was Caseymadeit created?
Hi I'm Casey! I’m a 23 year old New York native who absolutely adores fashion and the industry that surrounds it. Caseymadeit has evolved into what is now through many years of growth and development. The idea came to me a few years ago when thrifting a perfectly worn pair of timeless pants and the rest is history…
2. How long have you been designing?
I’m am extremely under qualified having no background in design but I’ve learned a TON over the years that makes me just as strong of a designer as anyone else. My love and passion for designing is what sparked my first steps in even thinking creating a label was a possibility. I always say, never think you aren’t able to something, if you want it hard enough it’ll be just as easy as anything else you do.
3. What is the LAUNE (mood) of Caseymadeit?
Caseymadeit is all about easy already ready outfits. A set that takes you from morning coffee to a girls night out and all the moments in between.
4. What inspires you?
Oh gosh too many things. I think what inspires me is seeing all the women a few years older than me chasing their dreams and owning success in that. What’s more inspirational than those powerful girls!!!
5. What does the design process look like?
I always want the silhouette of these pieces to stay the same. That what takes them from trendy to timeless. I usually spend a few days mulling over an idea until I bring it in front of my team. We tweak, choose fabrics, and let the magic happen.
6. You are based in NYC. What do you love about New York?
New York is home! I grew up on Long Island and still have a ton of family there. New York City was always the next step for me, it was never a question although these cold months have me rethink that sometimes! I think what I love the most is the energy. I ALWAYS come home feeling inspired no matter how long the day was.
7. What’s next for you and Caseymadeit?
I guess you’ll just have to wait and see! But I promise exciting things.

PM always no matter how late the night was

Working with a jewelry brand to create something epic on some clothes

Honestly, I’ve been trying not to narrow where I seek inspiration from to one person. I scroll Pinterest all day and the no name girlies are the best icons I’ve ever known.
11. Favorite movie?
Safe Haven (so sad but so good)
12. What are you loving right now?
I’m loving healthy eating, light makeup, and soaking up the winter
