Guide to Mallorca

On the heels of my trip to Mallorca, I thought it fitting to put together a list of recommendations for places, things, and restaurants on this beautiful and relaxing island.

I can’t recommend this beach club enough. We went here quite a few times…It’s literally the best beach club on the island! They swimming in the cove is incredible plus they have a pool.

A delicious Italian restaurant in Palma. Their saffron carbonara is fabulous. This was also our first night trying tinto de verano! From that first night, tinto de verano was a staple throughout.

Ponderosa Beach comes highly recommended by locals as well. Situated in the north, this has authentic Spanish food and specializes in paella. Phenomenal. One of my favorite meals.

We stayed in beautiful Alaró and every morning began with coffee and cards in the town square at Can Fressa. They have a delicious breakfast menu and it makes for a special place to begin your morning. (Great for people watching).

Market Day in Santanyi

From food to grass baskets to ceramics, market day in Santanyi is not to be missed.

Every Wednesday and Friday.

Port de Sóller

A beautiful seaside town with cute restaurants peppered on the beach. This is where is Patiki Beach is located.

Cala Deià

This is a public beach, but incredibly beautiful. A good place to take a dip and cool off after visiting near by Deia.

Cala Llombards

This was my favorite public beach. The water is absolutely stunning and so clear. We went here after spending the morning at the market in Santanyi. Very picturesque.

This is one of my favorite things about the island - you can go about your business and explore, and then pop over to a beach to cool off!

A gem of a restaurant. Located in Port de Sóller and right on the beach, this is farm-to-table tapas style. Everything tasted so fresh and was absolutely delicious. It’s a perfect place to eat and watch the sunset. Overall just a special place.

Restaurante Libanés Rotana

I LOVE Lebanese food and this has to be some of the best I have ever had. 10/10. Also a nice option if you want to mix it up from Spanish cuisine one night.

In the same town square and right next to Can Fressa, is Gallardo. This is a magnet for Alaró locals and we too were consistently drawn here. Best meals of the trip hands down. We came here on three separate nights because of how amazing the food is! Tinto de verano is a must and anything on the menu is excellent.

Located in Palma, KOH offers delicious south-east Asian cuisine in a very vibey setting. Tip: order more than you think…

Deià

This is an architecturally beautiful and charming town. We bopped around here and then journeyed down to Cala Deià to cool off.
